Final registration forms
Final registration forms are now available - sorry for the delay!
Observer and extra night fees
With the hotels now booked we can announce the fees for observers and extra nights. The observer fees will be 1000 USD as in previous Olympiads. Extra night fees will be 90 USD for students and 100 USD for observers and leaders.
31 teams?
After close of registration on 31 March, we are preparing to receive 31 teams at the 5th IOAA. As listed on the registration page, 29 countries have registered. In addition, China and Poland will each be sending a guest team.
Close of preliminary registration - 26 countries
Preliminary registration closed last night, with 26 countries registered. Singapore has informed us they are organising and we hope they will be able to attend as well. We are also confirming a couple of other potential participants.
25 countries registered
25 countries have registered teams so far, with interest also from Singapore, who are organising a team. Welcome everyone! Only a week left for those who have not yet registered ...
5th IOAA Logo
After several iterations and some debate, the 5th IOAA finally has a logo - now prominently visible at the top of the page. Representing a telescope looking at the stars, it also alludes to the heritage of Silesia as a mining and industrial region.
One month left for preliminary registration
One month to go for preliminary registration, with 19 countries registered and several others about to (from private communications).
15 countries registered
Within a day of opening preliminary registration, we already have 15 countries - including two completely new to the IOAA! Welcome, and we look forward to seeing you in August!
